Janet's Story
I retired from OGE Energy Corp. in Dec. 2009 after 42 years. Started as a secretary, moved up to Executive Secretary, and then on to Coordinator, Corporate Strategy.
I"m married to Rick Trent who also attended Grant. We celebrated our 40th anniversary in 2007 and went to Playa del Carmen. We celebrated our 50th anniversary in 2007 and due to Rick's health, we had a quiet celebration here at home. He spent 11 days in intensive care at the hospital from Dec. 26, 2016 to Jan. 5, 2017. He had to have a carotid artery replaced and everything that could go wrong did! It has taken him quite a long time to recover. I had back surgery in February, 2018 and am doing better now.

We have a home on the far Northwest side of Oklahoma City. We built a new house a few years ago and have spent time getting settled in and meeting our new neighbors.
I retired from OGE Energy Corp. where I was in the Strategy/Marketing Department. I was the Strategy Coordinator and spent my days doing research on energy issues, writing white papers, and leading the development of our performance measures for the incentive performance plan. I retired from OG&E on December 1, 2009 after 42 years.
Rick and I have a busy life visit with friends at our daily breakfast group. We try to walk several times a week and like to eat out. We have spent the last four years putting in a new yard and flower beds at the house we had built.
