Janet's Story
Upon graduation from WHS I attended Southern Illinois University, coached a high school cheerleading squad, and received a degree in Health Education. After SIU, I returned to work at WHS for 9 years. I coached cheerleading, drill team, and color guard and ran the In House Suspension program after a stint as a long term substitute. rsity Spirit Fashions and am a judge throughout the United States at various cheer and dance events. At our 20 year reunion, Garry Dillard(1974 too) and I reconnected and married the following year. We had our daughter in 1996 adding to the 5 daughters Garry had from a previous marriage. Sadly, in 2004 Garry passed away suddenly from a massive heart attack leaving a huge void in our lives.
