i am a writer so if you want the short version you will have to speed read! after leaving GCVI, i trained in London Ont for 3 years and became a registered nurse, specializing in womens health and obstetrics. i had a life......a good and interesting life and returned to guelph in 1987 to start another life. There was a strong appeal for me to return to guelph(my fave city in the world). I live in the country.....well, it was the country, now it is "south guelph", with my awesome husband of 22 years, Richard, our 5 cats and 2 dogs, in the old hawkins farmhouse on clair road. We are very much into music and host a lot of jams and music gatherings. I have had the wonderful and rather serindipitous opportunity to reconnect with several friends from highschool, in the last few years. We have been delighted to learn that we are somewhat the same and yet very changed and that connecting is energizing and comfortable. When at GCVI, i was quite shy& did not participate in any extra-curricular activities. So, i had my group of very close friends and pretty much lived in that small but happy world. the introvert has morphed into an extrovert, I am quite different today and feel that it would be cool to learn who else is 'back in town' and /or, interested in sharing their journey,their memories, their stories and potentially meeting if we both like that idea.
