Janet's Story
Hi to all my friends...(Class of 79)
I hope that everyone is happy and healthy.
It seems like only a short time ago that we all walked the halls of C.K. with no cares in the world, except - HOW ARE WE GOING TO GET TO THE ARENA? I am so greatful that I have such wonderful memories of my High School years. I remained lifelong friends with Rosalie, Lucy, Ann, JoAnn, and Nancy. We get together often for "OUR GIRL'S GET AWAY SPA WEEKEND" and always talk about our days in school, and how we would love to go back for just one day........
After graduating, I worked for the President of a commercial real estate company in lower Manhattan. Two years later, he opened his own company uptown, and I moved with him and worked as one of his assistants until I gave birth to my son Jason in 1992.
I thought I wanted a career in real estate, but after having my son, I thought differently. I proudly became a STAY ...Expand for more
AT HOME MOM, and had another son Alex in 1996, and a daughter Dana in 1998....I married my husband Joe in 1985.
Our children keep us very busy. Jason plays High School football, and is on the golf team, and a local softball league. Alex is on 2 baseball leagues, and a CYO basketball team. Dana is on a swim team, she plays on 2 basketball teams, and 2 softball teams. We travel to very interesting places with these teams, and have met such wonderful people.
Our lives are hectic, but we are all happy and healthy.... and we are very lucky to be surrounded by loving family and friends.
I feel fortunate to have had such great times at C.K. with all the guys and girls that I shared my hopes and dreams with. You will always have a special place in my heart that I will cherish forever.
