Janet's Story
I live in Montgomery, AL where I teach 2nd grade and love my job and those precious babies I am blessed with each year. I have 3 awesome children who have made life a blast (60's expression...hmmm) for me. They are all so much fun and now my daughter, son, and spouses live in Nashville, where I went to college. I also have a son here in Montgomery.My daughter is expecting my first grandchild in September. Yikes! I don't feel old enough to be a granny!
I divorced in '05 and am now enjoying a new and happy life with lots of close friends and a 13 year old dog named Mollie. I am a Christ follower front and center, love to read....esp. southern novels, (Pat Co...Expand for more
nroy is my favorite-you should check him out), love to garden but am way behind in my yard, and love to spend time at movies and dinner, etc. with friends, laughing and just enjoying life.
I wasn't a happy camper in high school. Wall flower isn't the word for what I was! I felt very inadequate and lost. When I left Mobile for Nashville, I absolutely had the time of my life and loved school. I "came out of my shell"...(not in a bad way.. :/) and never wanted to leave Music City. Life has a way of circling around, and now I have children there who allow opportunities for me to visit and go back to my stomping grounds!
