Janet's Story
I was married soon after high school graduation to a guy from our rival school, Southwest DeKalb....for 38 years before his death in 2005.
I am now 1000% retired and happy living in the Sarasota/Bradenton area in Florida since 2004. Prior to relocating here, I lived for 23 years in the Minneapolis/St.Paul, Minnesota and retired from 3M in 2003.
I have one child, a daughter, now 40...Expand for more
years old living in Chicago....still cannot figure out how my daughter could be 40 and I am only 39...go figure! She has two young sons, ages 4 and 7.
It has always been my dream to live in a coastal area and be able to enjoy the sunshine almost daily. Love the Gulf side restaurants, outdoor concerts and festivals, and the laid back-casual lifestyle living in Florida affords you.
