Janet's Story
Got married in 1977 -- still married to same guy, Ralph. He is a director of manufacturing for a company in Delavan, WI. I am employed as an Administrative Assistant in Rockford, IL. We moved around a bit due to Ralph's job changes at the beginning -- Columbus, Ohio, Zanesville, Ohio, Mt. Vernon, Ohio. We left Ohio around 1984, moving to Decatur first and finally to Roscoe, in Illinois.
Also, mixed in there, I spent 4 months in New York City, 3 months in San Antonio, Texas and we spent 2 months in London, England while Ralph worked there on a consulting contract overseeing an office re-location.
We have now lived in Northern Illinois for over 20 years.
We adopted 2 boys, both as newborns. The 1st is Miles, born in 1990. He is now living in Los Angeles, trying to break in to the acting / voice industry. University in Indiana. He can be found on Facebook. He is a very talented actor, film maker, and voice impersonator.

is in his 3rd year at Concordia University Wisconsin in Mequon, studying Sports Management.
I have had a tough year medically. I have osteoarthritis and in September of 2012 I underwent bilateral total hip replacement via anterior approach. Everything was great for 3 months, and then started having pain in the right leg. Turns out it was infected. Had a 2nd surgery July 31st, 2013, all artificial components were removed, a spacer was put in, I spent 6 weeks in a sub-acute facility with twice-a-day IV antibiotics, wasn't permitted to put full weight on the leg for 4-1/2 months. I finally got the all-clear that the infection was cleared and October 23rd, 2013 had surgery to put the components back in. Am on the home stretch now, and hopefully it is all behind me!
I refuse to spend money on a networking membership!!! So, if you sign my guestbook, I'll never know!
