Janet Pillion:

CLASS OF 1954
South bend, IN

Janet's Story

I went to James Monroe Grade School. I was on the tumbling team and was very atheletic. I was ask by a South Bend Blue Sox scout to travel and train with them in 1952 and I did. I have been in Frankfort, In. since 1953. I have six children of my own, 3 foster children for over 10 years and have had 30 other foster children. I owned and operated a drycleaners and laundromat for 30 years. I have been blessed to receive the Clinton County Gem award, The Random Acts ...Expand for more
of Kindness Award and the Howard Community Freedom Award for my contribution to the Mental Health of Clinton County. I have been blessed by Yahweh my God far more than I have ever deserved. I have found that there is no way to give of yourself without receiving a blessing in return, if it is given to help someone else that truly needs help, such as widows and orphans or children that are removed from their home, or those that are faced with tragic circumstances,
