I always wanted to be a Nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a bad idea. As it turns out, they were right, as I can not deal with blood or needles. But, guess what, I did take accounting classes--thank God for that since I have been doing accounting work since 16 years old and now work (2) jobs. My husband and I have our on business, since I can not do billing--etc since he works onsite, I also work another full time job doing the same thing. We live in Watson, which is right outside of Baton Rouge & Denham Spings during the week, we also have land in Summit, MS (quit going there after 2 years, previous owner swore it had not flooded in the 8 years they owned it, the 1st year it flooded three t...Expand for more
imes, so bad we had to back the airboat on the road going to our propertyand drive the airboat to the house and see the water 4-5 foot deep--lost all appliances, etc---after 3rd time haven't been back but one time, apparently teenagers think that is really cool, don't have to read Posted Signs--now have a buddy that stays there just to keep them from coming there, trashing and drinking. We also 40+ acres on the Bogue Chitto (pronouned Boga Chitta down here) River and that's where you will find us on the weekends on the river in the airboat or in the tunnel-hull boat going up River and floating down fishing, most of the time we have a gang of teenagers that want to be taken upriver to float down, so it is always lively.
