Janette's Story
I lived in Bloomington until 1978. Worked at Country Kitchen during my senior year until 1974. My daughter was born in 1972. We moved to St Paul and I worked both at Whirlpool and Gould Battery until 1977. We moved to CA and I went to school to become a medical assistant. In 1981 I married the love of my life and we had a son in 1982. We were married for nearly 39 years. Daughter moved back to Bloomington and her daughter graduated from JFK.
My husband and I moved to Nevada in 2014. Suddenly in 2020 my husband passed away. It was not Covid related. I sold my house this year and I am having a tiny house built on m...Expand for more
y son's property here in Nevada. My son and his wife have 3 girls (heaven help him!! LOL). I have all granddaughters. I also have 3 great grandchildren (2 boys and a girl). I do make it to Bloomington a couple of times a year and have the blessing of my high school best friend come from Illinois to visit. Her mother still lives in the same house which just happens to back up to my daughter's back yard!! Small world. Well I hope all my classmates going to our reunion have a wonderful time remembering and catching up. Since I can't attend this is my way of doing so. My thoughts and heart will be there. Go Eagles!!!
