Life
I can honestly say that I have had a wonderful life with a few bumps here and there. Don't we all? I have four children, lots of grandchildren and two great grandsons. Boy, that really makes one feel,"old." I have won numerous awards for volunteerism. I call myself, "the head stuckee." Was a Recreation and Parks Commissioner in Huntington Beach. Was an owner Silver Lake Resort in the June Lake Loop. Held real estate licenses in both California and Nevada for eighteen years. Owned a Century 21 office in Fair Oaks, CA. Sold my partnership to my partner as my husband took a job in Saudi Arabia working for Aramco, I also worked for Aramco, yes the oil company. I can say living in Saudi Arabia was one of the most incredible experiences one can have. What wonderful people they are. No, I did not have to cover in black, or wear anything on my head. "Spin the Bottle." I was there before, during and after the Gulf War. Where else in the world could one be so safe with five hundred thousand of our military troops everywhere you went? We were also, "Scud Duckers." I became "the Hug Lady" for our troops as we went out into the desert to barbeque for as many of our military as we could. I learned so much from working with the Saudis, all men. I have lots of stories and memories. Living in the Middle East, we were able to do lots of traveling all over the world. I was married for thirty five years to Gary Koch, class of 1954, we grew apart. I married again in 1999 and was married five years before my husband lost his battle with liver cancer. I am now a single lady and I am looking for a special person to help me enjoy the rest of my life. Please excuse any errors as I really did not study my grammer and spelling too well. You guys were more important than school stuff!!!
