Life
2005 - Life has been quite a roller coaster since high school. I left Georgia 5 days after graduation to be with the man I later married. We have now been married for almost 25 years and we have two wonderful children. My husband served in the Army for 20 years and both of our children were born while we were stationed in Germany. Eventually we were sent to N.C. where he retired. Our plan was to move to Phoenix to be near his parents, but my husband decided to take a job in Kuwait helping the U.S. Military as a defense contractor. While visiting him I was offered a job and 2 months later I found myself on my way back to Kuwait. As I write this we (me and our 18 year old son) are preparing to move to Pakistan to be with my husband - he went to set up a new office for the company we both work for. to stay in N.C. for school to be near friends.We are not sure when we will be back in America, but we do know that once back we will live in Arizona to be near both my husbands parents and my mother.
2009 - Since writing the above my husband and I have both taken jobs on a large military compound in Afghanistan. My husband has been here for over 2 years (and was in Iraq for a year before that)and when we leave in early January I will have completed 2 years. We hope this will be the last time we will work outside of the US and are looking forward to finally looking enjoying life in America. Our Daughter has graduated and is living in Raleigh NC and our son is attending college. Life is great!!
2011 - My husband and I have settled down in Glendale, Arizona and are really enjoying life. Our kids still live in Raleigh. It's hot here, but at least it's a dry heat!!!
