Life
I've lived in Walla Walla, WA with my husband Bob for 40 years. The other almost nine years we were in Bozeman where Bob attended MCSC for...2 quarters!...and then left for work in South Dakota. Living close to South Dakota State College in Brookings I was able to finish my last two years of college and then taught home economics for three years in Flandreau,SD. and we then moved west. Our first daughter was five years old by that time. We had two more daughters in '67 and '68.
I enjoyed parenting, homemaking and volunteering. In fact volunteering in the schools resulted in 19 years of employment with the school district as a instructional assistant. We have 5 grandchildren ranging in age from 25 years to 1 1/2 years. Guess that's it in a nutshell. It's been a very satisfying life.
