Life I finished H.S. in the summer of 1979, a year earlier than my class because I had obtained the credits I needed through summer classes. Though I missed not graduating with my friends, school was not my favorite place. After graduating I went back to New York, where I was born, to live & work. In New York, I worked hard for little money. Thus, I felt that college would give me better opportunities so I returned to Maryland to live and enrolled at PGCC. After graduation, I transferred to BSU. I completed my degree in Counseling and had great opportunities to counsel broken families, reconcile children back to their parents, link families with disable children to resources and make referrals to agencies needed for families..
