Janice's Story
Hi all,
Life is change. I lost my Mother this past summer and I am slowly adapting to that loss. Life is still good except the void that exists without my Mom. I work, come home to my sweet husband, 4 kitties, and my Zuke, a 125 pound puppy. All animals are fixed and healthy. I bought one of those flashing LED collar for my dog. I could not see him when I let him out side into my yard at night. I spent last night bathing him. I work nights and he loves to climb on my side of the bed when I am gone. Yes he is spoiled. My youngest son I am happy to say is in college working toward his electronic engineering degree. Thank God no Army. My older two went into the ARMY and two out of four was enough for me when it comes to my children. My children are 40, 34, 30 and 24. I cannot believe how fast life goes by. I love my job ...Expand for more
in nursing although it can be very stressful at times. I live in the country and own my home. I know it is a small 1440 sq ft but with no house payments I would not want to live anywhere else.In fact with all the kids gone it is really to big. I love my yard and my grand kids can play safely when they visit. I do not know how others make it in this economy. Never been one to keep up with anyone but myself, but I worry about the people out there who do not have a job that is secure. I still love to travel but have not vacationed in a while..Will try after the first of the year. My husbands health has not been the healthiest these past few years, but he is the energizer bunny and it is hard for him to settle down and realize that we are a tiny bit older in body but not mind. Hope all have a Merry Christmas.
