Janice's Story
I live and work in Huntsville, Alabama. I've been here since 1995 or 1996 (I forget!). I work for an aerospace company and I've worked on a lot of aerospace projects: International Space Station (elements: U.S. Lab, Airlock, Node 2, Node 3, Columbus) and on the Constellation project (to build new rockets to replace the Shuttle). ople I've worked with. I've travelled a lot and spent a fair amount of time in Europe (Germany and Italy) testing space flight hardware.
In my spare time, I renovated a historical house, got married (in Maui), gave birth to a daughter, and built a modern house that looks historical (modern features are wonderful!). I've run a couple of marathons and a few half marathons for fun.
