Life We moved out to Sage, Ca. in 1989 and love it. Jan raises a variety of birds and loves exotics... much training with capuchin monkeys (organ grinder monks). We have 4 children; 2 girls (marc's side); 1 boy (jan's side) and 1 boy between us both through adoption at birth... jan's oldest boy age 38, marc's girls ages 29 & 25.... and our youngest boy age 13. We have 5 grandchildren (2-marc's & 3-jan's)...ages 2 to 13 years! Sage is located near Lake Skinner in Riverside county... very rural section up in the hills through Temecula Valley Wine Country; it's quiet out here and we wouldn't change anything. There's no pavement, streetlights, we don't have to lock our doors, and even have the ability to leave the keys in our car. We have 10 acres so neighbors are quite a distance away... City life is never an option again. We own a flatbed trucking company of three trucks and, so far, the business has treated us quite well.
