Janice's Story

Life In 1980 I moved from Bartlet Il to Vicksburg MS. I had lived in Bartlet all my life. I went to Bartlet Elementary and then to Eastview Jr High. I would LOVE to hear from anyone from up there! My husand had a business trip to Chicago 3 yrs ago so I hopped on a plane and met him up there. While he was in his meeting I got a map and drove to Bartlet. I have to say it was one of the best days of my life! I drove by the park and the schools and my old house and Humbrach's only it's not a candy store anymore at that time it was this great little resturant I took my husband to later that night. Anyway I would love to hear from any of my long lost friends! arried to my second husband and very happy. We have been married for 3 yrs. My son is now 15 yrs old...amazing how fast time flies! I was a banker for many years but when I got my chance to get out of that life I took it and quick! I never was the 9 to 5 suite wearin' type I suppose. I hold a Cosmetologitst license and I rent a room from a great little salon in Ocean Springs. I love my work, set my own hours and just have fun at work now. My best friend since 9th grade still lives in Vicksburg so I'm back there from time to time. I guess I go up there several times a year. Didn't make it to the class reunion cuz said best friend was busy having her last and final baby that weekend. So I spent the weekend in the hospital with her and her husband welcoming the baby. Sure hope there will be a 25 reunion. Sure would love to hear from someone. I'm on aol. I'm jazzaryblue.
