Janie's Story
Life
I have been married twice and have five children. 3 boys, 2 girls. The oldest is 29, then 26, 21, 18 and 8. I spent 20 years as a hairdresser and then retired (partially) when I remarried. I have 3 grandchildren, 9, 7 and 2. (Yes one is older than my youngest. My 2nd husband is 12 years my junior and only had 1 girl. We have a son together) Other than doing hair I have also worked as a bartender at my sisters place to help out. Currently I am self-employed/semi-retired, emphasis on the semi-retired. We have a Sun Conure named Sunnie (how unusual is that?), 2 dogs, Jaxson and Peepers, shiht zu and chihuahua respectively and 2 cat...Expand for more
s Smokey (a grey one) and Sushi (Siamese). We like to travel and visit Hawaii and Vegas as often as possible. We hunt and camp in our RV and use our family cabin in the winter. We love motorcycling and spend as much time as we can on the harleys. My husband is career military and so far has not had to go to Iraq although he was there for Desert Storm. We do stay busy with all that goes on and I love playing grandma when I get the chance. We take them with us when ever we fish/camp/hunt. I would love to hear from some of my classmates as I was extremely shy in school (hubby says he can't imagine that!) and didn't keep up friendships.
