Janie's Story
So IâÂÂll tell you a little about myself, I have a fraternal twin sister Jeanie, a brother 10 years older Robby and a sister 12 years older Marcella. I grew up in Willows, which is in Northern California near Chico. While in school I did a lot of activities, cooking in 4H, raising a lamb and winning at the county fair, being in a club that made popcorn at the football games, choir, band, and a song leader. After graduating from High School, I moved to Sacramento and worked at a DennyâÂÂs Restaurant as a waitress. It was there that I met my husband Dave we have been married since 1981. We have two children a daughter Breeann and a son Alex. We also have a granddaughter Katy. After DennyâÂÂs I went to school and became a Hair dresser, and stayed in that profession for 10 years. We then moved to Weimar in the Sierra Mountains, at that time I opened a day...Expand for more
care with 14 children and an assistant. After 4 years, my husband wanted to move to Hawaii. His father was in the Air Force for 30 years (a lifer he says) when he was 16, his dad was stationed in Hawaii. When we met he said that he would like to move back there. So we moved to Hawaii the Island of Oahu in 2005. The Island is so beautiful and the ocean would change colors from the waves of white to a deep purple, 80 degrees and partly cloudy all year round. However, I missed California and the dry heat, Hawaii was too humid, we moved back in 2007. I wanted to do something where I would be in business for myself. As my husband has been a Real Estate Agent for 9 years he said âÂÂyou should do Real Estate.â So I applied for my license, passed my tests, and started the life style of Real Estate. This is the condensed version of what IâÂÂve been up to.
