More about Janis:"Born in Michigan. Came to Houston age 3. Moved to Amarillo, TX age 11 where I attended my first public school and excelled in sports and art. I was in 5 events in my first track meet and only two boys in the school could outrun me by a few 10ths of a second.

t. Louis), MO age 13 where I was a cheerleader and placed 2nd in the Oil Division of a tri-state art show. Was also featured in the newspaper for my artwork.
At 17 we moved to Navarre, (Minneapolis-St. Paul), MI and back to Houston within that same year and I graduated here a year later.
As an adult I lived in Austin, TX. and Jensen Beach, Florida but ended back in Houston, my home.
I have performed as a professional singer starting out with my sister in a 7 piece Western Wwing Band and opened for some famous Country stars. Later I played piano and sang in a Rock band. I frequent various venues to sing either the Blues or Jazz. Daytime I work as a technical drafter/illustrator and graphic artist.
Currently I love singing in my 100+ member church choir of which I have been a featured singer. I love writing music, playing piano, guitar, painting, dancing or playing any type of games with friends. I also love camping and outdoor sports. I especially love my pets, all animals and fund organizations that help them. I also LOVE JESUS!!!".
