Janis's Story
The beginning of this school year has been interesting since I retired in June from 27 years of teaching elementary school. I also own and run a dance studio, so I still enjoy the kids (the best part of teaching), but I don't have to get up in the morning (have NEVER been a morning person). I am still married (38 years) to my husband Paul who also retired as an engineer with Whirlpool. I am enjoying my three adult children and two precious granddaughters. I never thoug...Expand for more
ht I would look forward to turning 62 but I'm really enjoying having some free time to do what I want. I don't get to ElDorado much anymore but still consider Spudnuts the best donuts in the world! Purple is still my favorite color-Go Wildcats!!! I enjoy football-Greenwood Bulldogs, Razorbacks and Kansas City Chiefs . I love to travel and work out in my yard. I guess at this point I really enjoy remembering "good memories" and really have lots of those from high school!
