Janis's Story
Hi All!
I thought I would give this a little update. Michael (my son) just recently graduated from Rutgers University and will be going on to Cardiovascular Profusion. He will study at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ. Leslie (daughter) is still studing at Temple and will be in the Pharmacy field like her father. She is going for her PharmD! I am proud of both of my children.
As far as I am concerned, I don't mean to get political but this economy is horrible. I will leave it at that. I continue to live my life out here on a small ranch with horses, dogs and my cats. Arizona is arid and beautiful. Every day I see a new wonder. I am in a very rural area (Navajo Co.). I will wake to coyotes howling...the other night I went to check ...Expand for more
on my dogs in the pen because they were barking weird and come to find out a rattlesnake was coiled up ready to strike out at them (I am told that gopher snakes do the same thing when scared or cornered, but this was an awfully small "gopher snake"). I have become rather an independent woman here in the west. I bet not one of you would have thought my girlscout skills were worthy of this!
I don't think I will be making any more reunions. We just should keep it all in the past since our class was near 1000. There were a few friends I would love to say hello to after all these years, but you would never recognize me. If you are in the Petrified Forest area of Arizona, look me up in the phone book. I am there under my middle name.
