I stumbled upon this website and thought it might be fun to find out
what old friends are up to. I missed the reunion because I only found
out about it a week before it happened and I had just moved from
Colorado to California the month before.
I am married with two great kids, Amanda, 8, and Sawyer, 6.
My husband makes beer for a living and I am in the process of getting
my California Real Estate License. I have many fond memories of
hanging out in Beaver Paradise, the Tasty Freeze and partying at
the Boondockers. It's hard to believe that we are that old now!
I moved around a lot after high school and finally settled down at
the ripe old age of 35. Well, I haven't exactly settled down, per
se! I still have fun.
On the sadder side, if you remember my brother Scott, the wild
and crazy Jeffries, we lost him to a motorcycle accident in 1989,
but his memory lives on. My sister, Lauren, is living in Port Angeles,
Washington, and has become a very talented middle eastern dancer,
and is very popular with all of her hand made costumes and jewelry.

who is 9. My baby brother
Jay, still lives in Phoenix and is married with one daughter, Shea,
who is the same age as my daughter. I would love to hear from
you and find out how life has treated you over the years.
Fast forward to 2010. My life took an abrupt turn in the Spring of 2003 when my little boy was suddenly diagnosed with a terminal genetic disease that took his life 6 months later. After going throught that horrible experience I decided to start a non-profit organization, Fight ALD - Fighting Illness Through Education, to educate medical professionals about this disease which affects 1 in 15,000 boys in childhood. Since then I have traveled all over the US visiting medical conferences, hospitals, pediatric and family practice clinics and university's. I have all the information on my website which I can't post here but you can google Fight ALD. I still live in CA with my husband and now 17 years old daughter. My husband still works for Stone brewery and I am getting ready to head out on the road again to continue my ALD Awareness Across America campaign. Would love to hear from my old friends.
