OK, storytime.
Let me think... 40 years is a long time ago and I don't have as many brain cells.
Let's see... I moved to Hawaii in 1970 and lived there with my grandfather for a year. In 1972 I met the love of my life (Jesse Kloss) and married him. He and I went back to Hawaii for a 6 week honeymoon then moved to 200 acres in Idaho and did a little ranching. Our son was born 2 years later. ry minute. When our son started college, we moved to South Carolina so my husband could finish his doctorate while working as a research associate at the University of South Carolina. We moved back to the NW last November and now we live in Friday Harbor on the San Juan Islands. I still ride almost every day and plan to keep it up till I die. Horses are still one of my passions. So that's the short version of the last 40 years.
