Jared's Story
Back in High School, I was easy to find in a class room. Just look for the guy with his head down, sleeping. I didn't have many friends, but I didn't really look for any either. Since then, a lot has changed. While I still don't have many friends, which again falls on I don't really look for any. I am married. I got married in 2004. After graduating, I joined the U.S. Army. While in the Army, I did two tours in Iraq. The first was the actual war in 2003 (January to August) and the second one was less than a year and half after the first one in 2005 (January to January). I have changed a lot since my time in the Army. I went back to school (yeah, really.) and got an Associate Degree in Business Administration. I graduated with a 3.85 GPA and joined a Honor Society. The kid who slept through high school, hardly did any homework, and graduated by the skin of his teeth, in an honor society. Who would have thought that back in high school? I know I didn't think I'd ever go back to school. I couldn't get out of school fast enough and now I am going back to school of my own free will. I am currently going for my Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management.
