Steve's Story

Life I retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Army in 1997 and returned to California where I taught Army JROTC in the Manteca Unified School District until 2003. I returned to Arizona (my last active duty assignment was here) in 2003 and continued teaching JROTC in a local Flagstaff high school until I finally really retired in 2010. I've been married to my wife, Diane, for 38 years and she literally followed me all over the states and world while I was on active duty (not an easy feat!). I have one son, Sean, who is an active duty career soldier and an Iraqi war...Expand for more
veteran. I've not been in face-to-face contact with anyone from Franklin in many, many years but would like to see some of you again while we're still somewhat moving among the arthritis, aches and pains. It's my hope that someone in the Stockton area will spearhead one last reunion (I understand many '64 grads still live in or near Stockton). Looking forward to hearing from anyone who still remembers me and possibly seeing you at a reunion.. College AA, San Joaquin Delta College; BA, California State University, Sacramento; MS, Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff
