Obituary for Jason Estrada
Jason Estrada, 33, beloved son of Rev. Josue and Maria L. (Malave) Estrada, died Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Hospital of Central CT, New Britain Campus. He was born in Springfield, MA on November 2, 1983.
Jason graduated from Platt High School and attended the Christian Pentecostal Church in Meriden. He loved fast and antique cars, loved people and was famous for his hugs and kisses. His most precious possession was his daughter.
Beside his parents, he is survived by his daughter Jaylyn Estrada, a sister Marisol Estrada, a brother Josue Gamaliel Estrada and his wife Carol, his cousin Nelson Rodriguez, three nephews, Javier Hernandez, Cristian Soto and Jayden Estrada, a niece Giovanna Ruiz and a great nephew Jayce Hernandez. aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was pre-deceased by his grandparents Marcelo and Efigenia Malave and his uncle Luis Malave.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service to be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 8 a.m. at the First Congregational Church, 62 Colony St, Meriden, CT 06451. Everyone is asked to gather directly at the Church. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Springfield, MA. Calling hours will be on Friday, February 10th at the First Congregational Church, 62 Colony St, Meriden, CT 06451 from 4 to 8 p.m. Should friends desire, contributions in Jason’s memory may be made to the Christian Pentecostal Church, 60 Liberty St. Meriden, CT 06450. The John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East main Street, Meriden is entrusted with the arrangements.
