Jason's Story
Life
I am a lucky person. Most of you that have ever known me would already know that. It seems no matter what, I seem to come out ok. I've never really known why. Most of life's trials have been worthwhile, and a few have even been fun.
I have never strayed too far from the things that meant the most to me... family and friends, pets (dogs, cats, even sugar gliders), cars and motorcycles (from all over and many decades), and computers.
I have fantastic twins. A boy and a girl born in February of 2004. Their mom, my beautiful wife, tolerates me and my idiosyncrasies in a way that I could never deserve.
I have spent my career to this point having fun building networks and systems for many different organizations.
I have been able to get a few of the things I really wanted, and I know how lucky that is.
Don't get me wrong. Life is tough for me too at times. I know it is for everyone. It just seems that the balance falls in my favor enough to make me realize how fortunate I really am.

f you around sometime.
School
Wow did I end up bouncing around a bit during high school. First couple years at North Harford, Junior year at Bel Air, and then we moved again to Gaithersburg at the start of my Senior year. I often went back to Harford County for weekend fun during my year at G'burg, but I did make some good friends there in Montgomery County considering the short time I was there.
I have never been a college student, though a did work in the IT department at Johns Hopkins for a while and got to audit a few classes.
That said I have never stopped learning. Still I know how much I will never know...
Workplace
I have never worked outside of the Information Technology field. It has served me well. I have enjoyed a great deal of success, both personal and financial, as a result of my love of computers and networks. Even got lucky enough to get one U.S. Patent while working at Cisco. They now own the patent, but they were pretty fair in compensation from what I understand from talking with others.
