Jay's Story
Life
After graduation, I went on to Solano Com. College for a couple of years. Olivia and I got married in May 1996 and moved into our first house in Vacaville. I was working as a draftsmen and she was working at Campus Creations. I was working on my General Ed at Solano as was she. While sitting in my office at work on one occaision, I realized that after I got my degree and became an engineer, I would be pretty much trapped in that windowless office for the rest of my profesional career. In 1996, I slowed down on school and applied with the CHP. I was offered a job in December 1997 (Long hiring process!), the same month Olivia and I had our first son. emy in April 1998, and went to San Francisco as an Officer in October. Olivia was able to quite work and stay home with our son, as the CHP Academy is a 6 mo. live in academy. She has since gone back and completed her B.A. in Social Science/Psychology. She is currently the Director of Religious Education at our church, St. Joseph's Parish. We now have three children, Bailey(7), Elizabeth(5), and Tyler(4). I have since transfered to the Napa CHP Office where I have been for the past 5 years. Life has been good for us and we have been pretty fortunate. We recently moved into our second home, and now live in Dixon. Hope all is well with anyone who reads this. Take Care, Jay
