Jay's Story

Pleasantly unpopular in high school. Didn't like my dysfunctional family. WBDG rocked and I liked heavy metal. Disc jockey for awhile at WYSO Yellow Springs Ohio after graduation. Bored with it and then my music died.. Went in the Air Force and did well and became an officer. BS, MS, EdD in psychology at American University in Washington DC and did psychotherapy for many years until I retired from the Air Force. I taught psychology at a university for a few years but got tired of being an academic hooker. I did counseling at a couple of community mental health centers and I might have saved my own and a few other souls in the process. I live in the country with 4 violent Belgian Malinois. I married the smartest and best looking woman, I could find. My wife of 42 years thinks I am crazy and my 32 year old daughter knows I am nuts, however she is the one who turned down med school. ith a long suffering son in law. Things could be worse. I think of Patty Brinksneider,Tracey Lester, Loretta Pine,, and Beverly Baugh with fond memories. Wonder what happened to the Hi Ho radio gang, Dave Ellis, Rod Garvin, Steve Wolf, and Jeff Coss. Most of you don't remember me or give a hoot. Me either, I was not close to any of you since my family was so chaotic it didn't leave much energy to know you.. Doubt if anyone will read this info. It is nice this site exists. I look back at the few of you that post pics. Some of you are still alive, I see. Many I thought would die of the drugs or be in jail. Some of you just got married, stayed on the west side of town. Probably happier that way. Others like Angela Bard MD were very successful and productive. Steve Peay hung out with God and is Dean of a Seminary. Myself, I road a wild surf of life and hopefully helped some people. As I grow old its odd to see how all of you have aged and developed. I am glad I didn't stay in Indiana.. Its nice being cloud hidden whereabouts unknown.
