Jay Mather:  

He is an Actor, Comedian, Published Poet, and father of 3 wonderful kids, Jayson, Jessica, and Lindsey. He grew up in McMinnville, Oregon then eventually settled in Tigard, Oregon. In Drama, he achieved over 1,000 hours of stage time and was awarded the Honor Thespian Award from the Thespian Society. He went on to study Radio and T.V. Broadcasting then left for a life in the Emergency Medical field. Theatrically, he has acted in commercials, various television series, and some movie extra work. In October, Jay’s life took a turn for the worse and he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Kidney Cancer. Despite the loss of his right kidney, he gained a stronger faith in God and His ability to heal. His wife Vicki, is his anchor. Jay’s over 1,200 poems are inspired by God’s love and spirit. He also had a book published as a gift from a thankful prisoner on Death Row who received poems from Jay regarding forgiveness and God’s love.
