Jay "Jace"'s Story
"I’ve had a diverse career as a freelance writer & photographer, award-winning poet, website designer, an Adult Contemporary radio DJ in the San Francisco Bay Area, and twelve years as a popular and award-winning play-by-play football announcer. I also spent many years as a songwriter, including eight years in Nashville, TN. I wrote predominantly for the Country genre, but also enjoyed occasionally writing for A/C, Pop, R&B, and Smooth Jazz.
While in Nashville I also owned my own music publishing, song critiquing, and song plugging company. As a freelance writer I contributed reviews on new music and singer/songwriters to online publications, and regularly contributed book and concert reviews, along with personal commentary on the music industry, to Nashville's Songwriter's Connection e-Zine.
I created and launched Change Your Stars (you know the normal ending) in 2005 after creating a daily motivational / inspirational e-mail message that began in 1999 and has reached tens of thousands of people all over the world.

vel titled "The Reunion" was published in 2018. “Breaking the Stillness”, a compilation of my poetry and lyrics (including the stories behind what or who inspired many of them), was published in 2020, and my latest romance novel, “Letting Go”, will be published in the spring of 2023. I'm VERY excited to add that our classmate, Terrie Dailey Morgan, is my amazing editor-in-chief!!
