Jay's Story
Piper Elizabeth Kennedy: born 1/22/08, 9 lbs 1oz. very healthy baby girl!
Life
Graduated from Clemson in summer of 1994, that's right 6 years,with BS in Management.
Spent a wonderful summer living with Keli Crosby in Stamford, CT, working in Greenwich as a famous Manero's singing waiter, and taking roadtrips throughout New England and New York City. Trip including Mecca visit to Burlington, VT, original home to PHiSH.
Got a real job in 5-points managing Harper's Restaurant. After a long weekend visiting Staley Ferre in Denver and snowboarding at Keystone and Breckenridge, took a 6 week leave of absence to live in SLC, Utah with Greg Crosby.
After 1 1/2 years quit and took job in Beaufort managing The Bank Bar and Grill. Took a 3 month leave to go back to Utah and worked my first year at Snowbird.
After 1 year, quit the Bank (Retired), and spent the next 6 years enjoying winters at Snowbird and summers bartending in Beaufort.
Met my wife! After 2 more seasons at the Bird, leaving her behind in Beaufort, finally found an opportunity to open my own restaurant.
Enjoyed opening my own restaurant with a lot of help from my Dad!

Grandma's dock in 2004, honey moon at Lake Tahoe.
Ran it for 3 years! Sales increasing by 33%, but I was burnt so I sold out to a Thai. (2nd retirement)
Spent about a year adding on and redoing our current house. Love it!
Been doing a lot of travelling including:
1. 5 week, 11,000 mile, 30 state, 18 ski resort, roadtrip in my wife's Honda Element. Including lots of side trips and visits with friends all over the place including Boo in Oakland, Crack in Wyoming, and a reunion of sorts at Snowbird with The Old School Crew!
2. Scotland and the Highlands including the Isle of Skye.
3. Tulum, Mexico and visiting the Mayan Ruins
4. Dominican Republic for all-inclusive party with friends.
5. Alaska for 2 weeks guided by Uncle Jimmy.
6. Lake Tahoe for a fat trip with Old School Crew.
After doing some part-time construction work, now a restaurant broke and loving it. Looking forward to our first child due Jan. 15, 2008. I plan on being a Manny or Stay at home Dad since I already work from home.
Hope to one day live in Beaufort 6 months, and somewhere near a ski resort out west for the other 6 months a year. Just 4 years left on this 5 year plan.
