School School was always tough for me. My family is in a religion that's supreme goal is to remain seperate from the world and so I was not allowed to associate with anyone other than those of our faith. So I could not form ties with the kids I went to school with. On top of that I was smart and gawky. I didn't see the point to giggling and note passing and I hated my greasy hair and zit covered face. I was a bit "big boned", or so I felt and thought, and you know what, the rest of you can be pretty cruel. I hated going to school! Now that I am older, I realize that we all had our issues and all felt out of sorts. I am glad that my skin is greasy because it has helped me look younger. I am still weight conscious but hey, that is what keeps me eating better and working out! One of the tag lines here is "if you could do it all over again, would you?" I have a 17 yr old...I am doing it all over again. Kids are still clicky, hurtful and insecure. Feelings get hurt and boyfrien...Expand for more
