Hi All,
Some of you are really dear in my memories, even though we may not have seen each other for 42 years! Since I grew up in the Terrace Heights/East Valley Schools, this is the reunion I feel right going to... yes I graduated from A.C. Davis H.S. but my heart is with East Valley.
I don't want to remind you who I am, but here some memories... The fun I remember from High School days is choir, riding my horse to school on the Roza ditchbank, football games on a cold October evening, watching makeout sessions in Sr. Hall and being freaked out by a party in Moxee. From Elementary School I remember playing on the incredibly fast merry-go-round, the gigantic red delicious apple Kim brought me after falling off the monkey bars (it was the only rock in the playground!), climbing the treehouse at Sue's place (who's ...Expand for more
magazines were those, really?!), being scared by Tobi in her basement, Les Kurvinck's party, Fred peeing on the cars on TH Way, hanging out with Vickie listening to "Tommy" (her bro. was ahead of his time), hearing the exotic travels of Juanita (yep, other than Canada, that's the first exotic country I travelled to.)
I've worked as a Forester, which includes fire fighting, for 26 years, mostly out of Naches. Am retired in Klamath Falls and busier than ever with NARFE, Garden Club, Al-Anon, children, 1 g'child just born!, friends, neighbors, swimming pool (yep Sue, I finally got one) and exercising at the Senior Center...
If you care about where else I've been or what I've done, I hope we get to talk at the reunion! or call me... I can hardly wait to see you and hear what you've been up to!
Cheers! and Aloha,
Jaye (Solowan)
