Jean's Story

Life I taught Home Ec at Ventura HS from 71-81, was a sub in Conejo Valley from '88-92 and taught again at Golden Sierra HS in N. CA from '96-2000. I married Dan Cross(CLU '72) in 1971 and we have 2 sons. In Oct.'00 we moved to Lincoln,CA (40 mi. NE of Sacramento) where Dan, is the sales manager at Gladding/McBean (A 130 yr old terra cotta company). I work part time there as a sculptor in architectural terra cotta restoration. I also do interior decoration and faux painting and continue making custom banners for school...Expand for more
s, businesses, churches and private commissions. Our oldest son, Matthew-(30), got married 7-'00 and is going back to school to get his teaching credential. His wife, Jeannie, teaches 4-5 grades. They have a home in San Luis Obispo, CA Our son, Steven(27)graduated in May '02 from Azusa Pacific U. is a sales trainee for the Basalite Corp. He is single and lives near the Sacramento airport. We are involved in the Lincoln Chamber, Lincoln Arts and One Life Christian Church here in Lincoln. I would love to hear from you.
