Jean's Story
Life
After high school I attended Occidental College, receiving a B.A. in 1964 and my secondary teaching credential in 1965. I taught at Eagle Rock High School from 1965 to 1998. (French the entire time; Latin for a number of years; Spanish occasionally.) I met my husband, Robert Imperatrice, at Eagle Rock High, where he was a biology teacher. We have no children. In 1998 took early retirement at age 55, and we made our "vacation home" just north of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, our "full-time home." We have ten acres, and we are within a few miles of great golf, skii...Expand for more
ng, and boating on several beautiful lakes. I still like teaching teenagers, and I substitute some in the local high schools. We travel quite a bit, and it's wonderful to be able to travel during the "off-season." I also sing in the North Idaho Chorale, about thirty singers which is headquartered in Sandpoint, about thirty miles north of our house. We present two or three concerts a year, often with a full orchestra. We have returned to Southern California for visits about twice a year. The 40th reunion in October 2000 was great. I'm hoping there will be a 45th.
