Jean's Story
Life
Class of 1954, Jackson High School. I remember those days with pleasure and pain. Since then I've attended the University of Michigan, dropped out, returned, and finally graduated in 1973. Married David Paul Scott in 1955. We had 3 children, Marsha, Gregory, and Mary Beth. Divorced in 1981. Now we have 6 grandchildren. Daughter Marsha has a PHD in Science from the University of Missouri, works in New York, unmarried. hter Stephanie born in 1990, and twin sons Glen and Christopher, born in 1994. Daughter Mary Beth, married in 1995, has her own business, Washington Monument (headstones, etc.), has son Logan born in 1996, daughter Emily born in 1998 and daughter Victoria born in 2002. I'm extremely proud of all of them.
Although my degree is in Elementary Education, I never taught. I worked for more than 20 years for the Department of Defense, 14 years for the Army, 7 years for the Navy in San Diego, CA. Retired in 1999.
