the Finger Lakes region of NYS and love small town living. I am busy with volunteer work and also work two days a week at a winery. The fringe benefits are great!! I am content with my life but love new adventures and travel.

New 2020 ornaments - our tree is red & white;  After making about a dozen needle felted birds, I finally made one for myself.

Shequaga Falls - recently completed needlework.  It is a photo transfer technique.  Corning Chapter EGA did this recently.  Each person chose their own photo.  Mine is from Montour Falls NY
I got this beautiful hand-dyed wool at the Windmill yesterday.  I plan on doing some applique, possibly grapes.
I voted today.  This is a needlework pin I made.   All women got the vote in 1920.  My mother & grandmothers could not vote before this.  That brings it closer to home.

Lamoka Lake - it is nice to see the sun up earlier.  This is 5:50 am on May 6, 2020. By 6 am there were clouds in the way.
So, it is late afternoon on Fri, May 8 and it is 36 out & SNOWING !! Some is even beginning to stick.   UCK.   I remember in 1989, just as we moved to Lamoka,   there was a big snowstorm on Mother'sDay weekend, more in Roch
