After graduating from Hicksville High School, I went to work and started my career as a Secretary at Franklin National Bank in the Collection/Charged-off Loan Division in Roosevelt Field. My next position was Secretary to the Vice President/Manager of Security National Bank located in Lindenhurst. I also worked as Manager of the Typing Unit of Fun-Tyme Tours (a wholesale travel agency). After Fun-Tyme Tours closed, I stayed home for a brief time then went back to work on a part-time basis for PC Richard and Son. After leaving PC Richard and Son, I worked for Yale Associates, Inc. (a company which does background checks for major corporations throughout the U.S.). This position was a very interesting job. After leaving Yale Associates, I started working for Suffolk County Civil Service as a "temporary floater".
