Jeanette's Story
Life
After graduating from Western Illinois University, I decided to join the armed forces. Why join the work force when you could see the world... which I did. For 3 years I was stationed in Germany and had 30 days vacation a year to travel and explore 17 countries. I'm a different person for having had this wonderful and enlightening global experience. I have lived in Washington state, in the Seattle area, for the past 14 years. I own my own home and care for my daughter and now my mother, as she relocated here this past summer. arge and we live on different levels which affords us continued privacy and independence. I've gone from globetrotting, to motherhood and a settled surburbian life in the Evergreen State!
Workplace
I work for CB Richard Ellis, a worldwide commercial real estate firm. I produce the legal forms and marketing materials necessary for the sale and lease of commercial properties. It's not the typical administrative job as there's a lot of creative opportunities, which keeps it fresh. I've been with CBRE for 7.5 years now and hope one day to work for the company abroad.
