Jeanette's Story
My family & I moved from our home town Santa Maria, Ca. to Bell Gardens when I was 10 yrs. old. I didn't want to move & didn't like Bell Gardens at first. Once I made friends it wasn't so bad. My junior & senior year was the best. About a year after high school I got married, went to trade school for a short time, bought a home in Chino, had a horse & other animals & lived there for about 2 yrs. We then moved and bought a home in Corona & lived there for about 7 years. We were happy for a few years then things went wrong & we divorced. I moved to Norwalk for about a year. I live in Downey now & have been here for about 32 yrs. What can I say about my family other than I love them and too many have passed on before their time. onship over 15 yrs. now. The only pets we have are two cockatiels, one named Peepers & one named Snuggles. Peepers has an in your face personality, very social & can be very sweet, affectionate & always seems to do something funny. Snuggles has a more gentle side & loves to just be held & petted & does this funny back bend of her head. I have been in contact with a few close friends from j.h. & h.s. Two of my friends found me on Classmates, great site. All of us had a great time at our 30 yr. reunion, summer of 2004 at the Queen Mary. :)
Feb. 2010, everything is about the same, still work & live in Downey & still in a happy relationship.
