Jeanette's Story
I currently live in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Near Lava Hot Springs, Craters of the Moon, Yellowstone National Park, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I have a wonderful husband, He is an excellent companion. He is a Family Practice doctor. I am his girl Friday. Our office is in our home. (easy commute) We don't take insurance so they don't set our prices. He charges $2.70 per minute. No markup on labs, so labs that normally cost $100 around town cost $9-12 dollars here. We love what we do. We make a positive difference in the lives of many people. We have so many wonderful friends. The people in this area make this a delightful place to live.
I own a small trimaran sailboat and get out on the water as much as I can. I have 5 marvelous grandchildren. My daughter is amazing. I wish I could do more to help her she has so much on her plate. I have never really grown up in personality. My interest in playing and humor, mark me at about 12 years old. (Because of this my grandchildren find me a delightful playmate, and I, love to play with them [not watch them play]) It is a plus that I am old enough to drive and can take them on adventures.

s the center of my life. I trying to reach outside my comfort zone and look for ways to help people, even when it is inconvenient. I love our "New Testament" curriculum this year. It is called "Come Follow Me” I feel like I am really learning about Christ and drawing closer to Him.
I was very successful in the business world before I met my husband. It was really hard to give up all that ego boosting adulation of my job. I took me about a decade to get over myself. Pride can still rear its ugly head, but I have more peace and fewer headaches in my current life. Humility had improved my personality.... but I still need more improvement.
I cook a couple excellent East Indian dishes. I my "stir fry" is superb. I have learned to make 2 gallons of green salad at a time and store it in wide mouth canning jars - firmly tightening the lid. Depending on the freshness of the greens, the salad can stay fresh for a week to 10 days without browning or wilting (if the greens are dried after washing) The rest of my cooking is pretty average... well except for my pumpkin and lemon meringue pies.
Board games are my entertainment of choice. I adore Mahjong - without the betting.
