Life
I have 2 kids, a boy, 18 and a girl, 14. Oh yeah, and a cat and a hamster too.
Life's lessons have helped me to grow a lot over the years. I have learned not to be naive enough to trust everyone, but that there are times when you have to have enough faith in your own judgement to trust someone. Gut feelings make wise companions.
Though I still like a lot of the same things I did in my younger years, I've learned that it's not a bad thing to try new things. It's okay to step outs...Expand for more
ide of your comfort zone once in a while just to experience what life has to offer. For example, I found out I like motorcycles. Though I'll never make "biker chick" (thank God), a nice ride can be relaxing and adventurous at the same time.
Most of all, I've learned that I need to instill in my children that life is too short. They can't sweat the small stuff. They need to hold on to that which is dearest to them, because before you know it, you look around and think, where did it go.
