Jeanette's Story
We will be in No. Calif from June until Sept. - and although I will have my laptop, I'm not sure I can get into Classmates.com.
I moved to Calif in 1965 with my first husband and 3 sons. After our divorce I remarried and acquired 2 step-children. I now have 3 granddaughters and 2 step-granddaughters , and among them I have 15 great grandchildren.
My two step-children have a total of 7 children and so far no great-grandchildren! All of our children and grandchildren are spread out across the country from Washington State and Montan...Expand for more

We are spending our retirement traveling when we can, summers in northern CA and winters in southern CA. Apple Valley is considered desert, but we like it here except when it gets too hot in the summer. Lake Almanor is great in the summer, but too cold in the winter, so we keep a home in both areas.
If our health stays okay, we hope to make our next vacation cruise a trip to Alaska later this year.
Our dogs and cat keep us busy, since we aren't close enough to any of the grandchildren to spend much time with them.
