Life Life has certainly brought many surprises, good and bad. Got married at 21, got divorced at 38, (bad surprise). Remarried one year later to my true soul mate, (great surprise). When I graduated from MHS, I worked at the same job for 11 years, quit at age 28 and started Kip's Hardwood Flooring. The big surprise is that we are still here 14 years later. It has steadily grown to be the fourth largest hardwood business in the Portland area. Something I never envisioned but I'm now very proud of. Our success has allowed me to pursue my major weakness, travel-travel-and more travel. Traveling and visiting other far away places is certainly enjoyable, but there's still nothing like home, even if it is SE Portland.
