Jeanie's Story
I was born in Paterson, New Jersey. My father was an avionics engineer for a military contractor, the Bendix Corporation. We started moving when I was in 2nd grade and we didn't stop moving until my senior year in high school. I was always the "new girl" at school. We lived in the following places: West Paterson, N.J.; Dover, Delaware; Sioux City, Iowa; Klamath Falls, Oregon; Ogden, Utah; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Camp Hill (Harrisburg), Pennsylvania; and Midwest City, Oklahoma.
I spent my sophomore and junior year at Midwest City High School in Midwest City, Okla. I left Oklahoma to spend my senior year in Parsippany, New Jersey, where I graduated from Parsippany High School in 1969. I attended Oklahoma State University and graduated in 1973 with a degree in education.

ing and production business, mostly working in New York City. My last job in that industry was Vice-President of worldwide apparel sourcing and production at Tommy Hilfiger. I have been nearly everywhere in the world in my career. I left Tommy Hilfiger to open my own consulting firm in 1999. Soon after that, I met my husband in Brussels, Belgium while we were working on a consulting project together.
I am married and was living in France for more than 9 years (2000-2009). My husband (who is German) and I owned a consulting business, specializing in turnaround management and international mergers and acquisitions. In December 2009 we moved back to the U.S. to be with our remaining family.
We have no children, but we have 2 big black dogs named Eigje (8 years old) and Emmitt (3 years old). They are both Bouviers des Flandres and they have the same mother.
