My Life in a Nut Shell...LOL I got married in 1980 to Donny Kirkpatrick and we have been married 33 years. We have 5 sons ranging in ages from 28 to 16 and we had a daughter, Alissa, who was stillborn. We also have another daughter. We have only known her a few years. Missed her growing up years, but are grateful that she has come into our lives! We have three beautiful granddaughters I love being a "grandma"! We have lived in various places in California but moved back to Susanville about 16 years ago. We bought a huge home with my parents and now all live together. We also are real estate agents but are not very active in it. Our Seal and Stripe business just keeps plugging along. I also home school our children. Four of our sons graduated from high school , and only have one more to go. Our oldest son, Leif has two daughters and is recently going through a divorce. We don't see him much or the grandchildren. He is our thinker and dreamer. Jaron is a locomotive engineer at Herlong Army Depot and is married to a wonderful girl whom just graduated from the University of Chico and is pursuing a teaching career. He is our go with the flow son with a huge heart. Kyler works for the family business and has a lovely girlfriend. He has invested in a couple of real estate rental properties and he is the son who always puts a smile on every ones face. Rylan is about ready to leave home and go to the University of Reno and will be majoring in Physcology. He also is in the Nevada National Guard and is a MP. He is always coming up with "Rylanisms".
