Life
After graduation I married my long time sweetheart.
I am now single again. My husband of 49 years passed away on May 10, 2010 and my youngest daughter passed away on May 21, 2010. A tough year.
Now I am continuing to do what I would do if he was with me. It does get lonely at times, but I have my girls and grandchildren to keep me busy. My oldest daughter
and I went to Tokoyo, Japan on May 18, 2010 and we were there when my youngest daughter passed away. We had to cut our visit short.. We had planned to stay a month, but did get to play with #2 great grandson that was just a month old and visit with my grandson & his wife whom we had not seen in 2 years.
I have 2 daughters living, 1 son-in-law, 2 granddaughters ,4 grandsons, and 3 great grandsons and 2 great grand daughters..1 of my daughter's is single again and 1 is married. Residence is Richmond Tx. Moved from Fort Worth in 1976 due to my husband being transferred. He was a Captain for the Texas Department of Public Safety, located in Houston, Tx and retired after 37 years of service. I am now am having a great time being retired and was blessed financially so that I could retire early. Traveling.
Staying so busy that I do not have time to be at home much. I work 3 days a week at our church as the financial administrator and office manager. I sing in a Senior Adult Community Choir and travel a lot with them. I am a Seasoned Citzen now and enjoying all the discounts that are offered. It is about time we got a break.
The two other Blessings(Anita & Beverly) are my younger sisters and they too are now Seasoned Citzens.
I am so busy here that I only get back to Fort Worth about once a year. I still have lots of friends in Fort Worth and I am going to meet up with them in May, but are too busy with kids, traveling and having a great time and try to communicate with them as much as possible thru Facebook and e-mail.
My life is not boring or dull.
